This is inspired by an interview of Basquiat's girlfriend. She was mentioning that folks would say things like, "I love that! Could you do it in blue!" And this would upset Baquiat. I doesn't bother me. I sent a photo of a commissioned work to the woman who commissioned it and she thought it lacked color. I did know exactly what the colors of her place were going to be as it was under construction and that was still under consideration. "More yellow maybe?" I asked her. She immediately replied. "That would be great!" She ended up buying a few pieces for her home that came from this collection. You want more yellow? You get more yellow! I am no Basquiat. I am Ron.
